Plasencia 1865 Alma Fuerte is a small-batch cigar blended and handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, by the Plasencia family, who’ve been growing tobacco and producing cigars for many of the biggest brands in the industry for decades. Five generations of premium cigar-making culminates in the 93-rated 1865 Alma Fuerte which ranked in Cigar Aficionado’s ‘Top 10’ in 2017. An intricate core of Nicaraguan long-fillers from Estelí, Condega, Jalapa, and Ometepe is bound by a hearty Criollo wrapper leaf in a well-made and balanced collection. Bold notes of leather, cocoa, earth, and toast complement a robust spice from beginning to end.
